Preventative vulnerability management
When a large federal healthcare agency approached Deloitte for help improving how they monitor and mitigate security vulnerabilities across the agency, I led user research and usability testing efforts to understand the current pain points then designed a solution that would improve the workflows of executives, IT managers, and vulnerability technicians.
More vulnerabilities, more problems
The backlog of vulnerabilities was growing due to an inconsistent approach to mitigating security risks. Data showed that only 2 of 8 dashboards were being used by employees, and nobody had viewed the tutorial section... what was going on?
